Several container shops along the Ghana Flag area on the Obom stretch in Kasoa, Awutu Senya East Municipality, have been destroyed by a severe fire.

The blaze, which started around on Monday, September 2 around 5:30 p.m., had engulfed some buildings along the Kasoa-Obom road, including carpentry shops and drinking spots.

Fortunately, the fire officers were able to manage the situation, preventing the entire tender from being consumed by flames.
