The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has announced a planned maintenance shutdown of the FPSO John Agyekum Kufuor, operated by Eni Ghana Exploration and Production Limited.

In a statement dated September 11, 2024, ECG indicated that the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel shutdown would take place from Thursday, September 12, to Wednesday, September 18, 2024, as part of a scheduled maintenance exercise.

"We do not anticipate power outages as a result of this exercise,"

"However, in the unlikely event that power generation is impacted, the public will be duly informed," the statement said.
