A University of Ghana student believed to be in Level 100 has been found dead at the University’s swimming pool.
This sad incident took place on Saturday, January 29, 2022, when a student found the lifeless body of the deceased floating on the surface of the pool.

Rumours on campus suggest the student died because he swam at the deepest parts of the big pool when he didn’t have any swimming skills.
An eyewitness who spoke to the campus radio said: “…the guy went to the 21ft and was asked to go back the first time…not knowing, he went there again and the next thing they heard was that he had drowned”.
Another eyewitness said the deceased student was first taken to the hospital after his body was retrieved but was pronounced dead on arrival.
