A cement-loaded articulator truck with registration number AW 1418-11, has run into a group of traders at Anloga Junction in the Ashanti regional capital, Kumasi, killing one person and injuring others.
 The driver of the truck was said to have lost control when the vehicle veered off the road after the brake had failed to work.
The incident occurred at 2:30 pm on Thursday, 12 July 2018.
The deceased whose name was given as Solomon Antwi, 32 years sold slippers and shoes along the road.
Several other individuals are in critical condition.
Personnel from the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS) were deployed to the scene to rescue some of the victims who were trapped under the truck.
