Watch Live: Appointments Committee vets Rashid Pelpuo, Sam George, Ablakwa & others

The Appointments Committee of Parliament has begun vetting the eight ministerial nominees scheduled for today.

It commenced with Abdul-Rashid Hassan Pelpuo, the Minister-designate for Labour, Jobs, and Employment, and will be followed by Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed, the Minister-designate for Environment, Science, and Technology.

Samuel Nartey George, nominated for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovations and Kofi Iddie Adams, the Minister-designate for Sports and Recreation are also expected to face the committee.

After a brief recess, proceedings will resume with the Minister-designate for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Joseph Bukari Nikpe, the nominee for Transport and Issifu Seidu, the Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability.

The final nominee will be Ahafo Regional Minister-designate, Mrs Charity Gardiner.
