2024 elections: Bawumia to file presidential nomination Monday

The flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia will file his nomination for the 2024 presidential election on Monday.

A statement issued by the General Secretary o the NPP said Dr Bawumia will be accompanied by his running mate, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Party’s National Chairman and General Secretary, the Majority Leader in Parliament, and other NPP leaders.

After filing his presidential nomination, Dr Bawumia will address party members and the public at the NPP headquarters at 9:00am.

The NPP is pleased to announce to the general public that the Party’s 2024 Presidential Candidate, H.E Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia would, on Monday, September 9, 2024, file his presidential nomination at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission.

The Vice President and Leader of the Party would be accompanied by his Running Mate and Vice Presidential Candidate, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Party’s National Chairman and General Secretary, the Majority Leader in Parliament, and some few Party Leaders.

After filing his presidential nomination, the Presidential Candidate would be addressing party sympathizers and the general public at the Party’s National Headquarters at 9:00am.

Members of the Party and the general public are invited to be part of this historic moment of POSSIBILITY in Ghana’s Next Chapter.
