Former Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has been summoned to appear before the Disciplinary Committee of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) on Monday, April 7, 2025, for allegedly breaching a party directive.

The directive in question cautioned party members against making public statements that could create disaffection for the party.

Adwoa Safo, in series of interviews, is believed to have made comments that contravened this order.

According to the official invitation, the hearing will take place at 11:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the NPP Headquarters at Asylum Down, Accra.

The former MP has been advised to present any documentary evidence or witnesses relevant to the case and is entitled to legal representation during the proceedings.

“You are advised to present any documentary evidence or witnesses pertinent to the matter under investigation,” the letter stated.

It also indicated that she may be accompanied by legal representation during the proceedings, should she require it.

The Party says the invitation forms part of its commitment to transparency, fairness, and due process.
