Lawyers for the National Democratic Party’s presidential aspirant, Nana Konadu Agyemang-Rawlings have worded a letter to the Electoral Commission (EC) leadership contesting the disqualification of their client.
The law firm, Bentsi-Enchill, Letsa & Ankomah argues the EC has no locus to bar aspirants because endorsers are found to be multiple voters.
They further, argue supposed multiple voters must have a conviction for the offense and be made to serve a prison tem before a disqualification can hold.
