Newly elected Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, has promised to ensure that the party wins back political power in 2020.
Ofosu Ampofo has said the National Democratic Congress(NDC) is ready to work hard for the party’s victory in the upcoming presidential elections.
He said this while delivering a victory speech on behalf of all newly elected executives at the just ended 9th delegates’ conference of the party which took place in Accra at the Fantasy Dome of the Trade Fair Center.
“My administration is poised for action. One thing we want to assure and promise the NDC fraternity is that we are going to work around the clock and promise you that by 7th January 2021, the NDC will be going to the Flagstaff House.†He also pledged to ensure a cordial relationship between the party and the media.
The NDC would want to guarantee the media that under my chairmanship, we will have a very cordial relationship with the media, he added.

Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, former Member of Parliament and Minister of State who was the Director of Elections for the NDC when it performed terribly and lost the 2016 presidential polls, is certain that the NDC will return to claim power from the New Patriotic Party (NPP).Â
