Coalition of Domestic Election Observers (CODEO), has released the second batch of its environmental election findings ahead of the December 7 polls.
The report stated although no observer spotted politicians giving money to the electorates to vote for them, it emerged the National Democratic Congress (NDC) offered cutlasses and used clothing to sway opinions in the Ahafo Ano Constituency while the New Patriotic Party (NPP) offered 20 cement bags in another area to also sway voters to its camp.
The report suggested radio remains a key tool of reaching the electorates indicating the NDC and NPP were the most visible in the constituencies.
Education, Unemployment, Healthcare and Corruption were issues dear on people’s hearts and was sure to be in the mind of voters when they cast their ballot.
It also found chiefs to be largely non-partisan except when it got the Volta and Bono-Ahafo Regions where chiefs were unrestrained in their support of their choice of presidential candidate.
