NDC primaries: A.B.A. Fuseini, Kwabena Donkor defeated

The Member of Parliament for Sagnarigu Constituency, Alhaji A.B.A Fuseini, on Saturday lost his bid to represent the National Democratic Congress (NDC) again ahead of the 2024 elections.

He secured 333 votes as against his main contender, Atta Issah who garnered 801 votes, per provisional results released so far.

In a related development, the incumbent MP for Pru East constituency in the Bono East Region, Dr Kwabena Donkor, has been defeated in the party’s parliamentary primaries.

He polled 371 votes as against his main contender Emmanuel Kwaku Boam who secured 474 votes. Fiaworno Bright Amedo polled 66 votes. Four rejected votes were recorded.

More than 355,000 NDC party delegates took part in the voting process at 401 centres across the country for the ballot.
