The Vice president and flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr Mahamudu Bawumia on Saturday, March 30, 2024 brought Kwahu to a standstill as thousands of people joined him for a walk.
The well-attended walk was also graced by some Ministers of State, NPP National Chairman, Stephen Ntim, NPP General Secretary Justin Frimpong Kodua, some national, regional and constituency executives, as well as a number of MPs and PC's from the Eastern Region.
At the end of the walk, I addressed the charged crowd and highlighted our party's superior record in many sectors and declared our readiness to work very hard to build on our achievements and move Ghana to a future of promise and possibilities through our determination to break the 8.
Bawumia added that if elected president at this year's general elections, he would train one million youth in ICT especially in the area of software development as well as support small scale miners through the minerals development bank with money to do their mining business without any hindrance.
