The Ghana Police Service has launched a manhunt for a group of thugs who stormed the Ashanti Regional Coordinating Council, disrupting the Council of State Regional Elections in Kumasi.
The thugs attacked electoral officers and destroyed ballot papers during the counting of the ballots. Scores of people, including journalists, have been injured by the unknown thugs who invaded the polling station.
Authorities have confirmed that investigations are underway, with law enforcement officials currently reviewing available footage to identify the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
