The politician cum businessman also dismissed concerns about the NDC’s chances, citing their past records.

“I have said that if NDC likes it not they will not win the 2024 elections. They would not win. You can check their records. They would not win. The NPP would win the elections.”

“We would do whatever it takes to win the elections. We are a political party that has pastors, imams, and traditionalists so whatever means we would take to win the elections, we would do so. ‘Burn the sea if you don’t understand,'” he noted.

“We’ll win and continue our good works. We’ll do whatever it takes, even if it means ‘burning the sea,” he declared.

This is the second time Mr. Acheampong has made such pronouncement.

In April 2023, Bryan Acheampong reiterated his stance from 2023, noting that the governing NPP will not hand over power to the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming 2024 general elections.

“NDC party will collapse and collapse and collapse. If the NDC dares to use threats, Violence and foolishness in 2024 election we will let them know we have the men.We will show them that we have the men. We have the men![He screamed to emphasize]. It will never happen that we the NPP will stand on a platform to hand over power to the NDC. It will never happen! We will make sure NPP remain in government at all cost,” he said.
