The Accra Sports Stadium is currently under slight renovation. The Cape Coast Stadium is in a better condition and recently hosted the WAFU tournament.

Meanwhile, the Kumasi Babayara Sports Stadium have been selected as an alternative to the Accra Sports Stadium.

CAF’s inspection team will arrive in Ghana in the coming weeks to assess the progress in preparation for the tournament.

Ghana for the first time will be hosting the Africa Women’s Championship since its inception in 1999.

The Black Queens finished third in the last edition of the competition played in Cameroon.
