Aduan stars midfielder Bright Adjei has stated that his side are meticulously prepared for their encounter against AS Vita Club on Wednesday, 18,2018 in the CAF Confederations Cup despite lack of local league participation.
The Dormaa-based team are set to lock horns with As Vita Club on matchday three with regards to the CAF Confederations Cup.
Aduana Stars are placed at the bottom in their group, having picked up only one point from a possible six, losing their first game against Ivorian side Asec Mimosas away from home as well as being held to a 3-3 against Moroccan side Raja Casablanca at home.
The local league has been halted following a court injunction. However, Bright Adjei is confident Aduana Stars are adequately prepared for the clash despite the inactive Ghana Premier League.
“We have prepared long ago and ready for any match despite the fact that we are not playing the league."
"We are confident of getting our first win on Wednesday. Football is my work and I don’t regret playing football despite the current happenings in Ghana football†he told Solid FM Sports.
Adjei also insisted that they are ready to work and adapt to the tactics and philosophy of new coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi.
