Black Stars coach Otto Addo will announce his squad for the AFCON qualifiers doubleheader against Sudan on Friday, October 3, 2023.

The announcement will take place at the Ghana Football Association Conference Room at 1:00 pm and Coach Otto Addo is expected to name a strong squad for the crucial games.

The Black Stars are looking to rescue their AFCON qualification hopes after failing to win any of their opening two games, losing 1-0 to Angola and drawing 1-1 against Niger.

Ghana will first host Sudan at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday, October 11, before traveling to Libya for the reverse fixture at the Martyrs of February Stadium on Monday, October 14.

The Black Stars currently sit in third place in Group F with a point. Angola occupy top spot with 6 points, Sudan sit in second place with 3 points and Niger lie bottom with a point.
