Reports emanating from England suggest that Stoke City are closer to signing Torino and Ghanaian midfielder Afriyie Acquah.
The midfielder has been linked with a move to England over the past two years and rumours suggest he has already agreed personal terms with the Potters.
The 25-year old was initially linked to Newcastle United where he would have played with Black Stars winger Christian Atsu but he quickly moved to quash those rumours.
Further report suggest that Stoke City are yet to reach an agreement with Torino and this could see Stoke pay between 7-10 million pounds for the signature of the Ghanaian.
Acquah figured 21 times for Torino last season, scoring two goals from midfield
Acquah is known for his robust nature and atletism on the pitch and has been likened to former Chelsea Star and Ghanaian Micheal Essien. He joined Torino from Hoffenheim for £2.3million in 2015 having previously had loan spells at Parma and Sampdoria.
