Kumasi Asante Kotoko have pocketed GH¢15,000 from the friendly match with the Black Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday 12, October 2018.
Asante Kotoko locked horns with the Black Stars in Kumasi as the national team humbled the Premier League club 3-0.
Goals from Majeed Waris, Emmanuel Boateng and Christian Atsu inflicted CK Akonnor's first defeat on his debut game since his appointment as the head coach of the club.
The Porcupine Warriors received GH¢15,000 which is equivalent to 40% of the gate proceeds as the 60% belongs to the National Sports Authority.

The Black Stars- Asante Kotoko game was organized to fill in the Ghana-Sierra Leone AFCON qualifier due to FIFA's decision to place an indefinite suspension on the SLFA.
