Kumasi Asante Kotoko are set to pitch camp in the oil city of Ghana, Takoradi ahead of their CAF Confederations Cup campaign next season.
The Porcupine Warriors were given the green light to represent Ghana in the 2018-2019 Confederations Cup even though football in the country is on halt.
However, as part of the preparations ahead of the competition, the General manager of the club George Amoako has revealed that Kotoko will arrive in Takoradi on Monday, November 5, 2018, to begin the camping.
The team will stay in Takoradi for ten days and engage in a series of friendly matches with local sides and an International matches which is slated for November 18, 2018, before they will depart to Kumasi.

The team will use the training camp to access the newly acquired players as to whether they are fit enough to represent the club when the Confederations Cup campaign begins.
Meanwhile, the Kumasi-based club have submitted their 26-man squad ahead of the CAF competition.
