Vice Chairman of the Black Stars Executive Committee Winfred Osei Kwaku popularly known as Parmar says the team failed to qualify for 2018 World Cup due to their poor start to the qualifiers under the tenure of Avram Grant.
The Israeli trainer was in charge of Ghana's first two games before being replaced by Coach Kwesi Appiah.
"We are where we are because of Avram Grant, he did not help matters at all,if we had been able to secure maximum points in our two opening games we wouldn't have been talking like this" He told Asempa Sports.
Ghana played a goalless draw with Uganda in the opening match of the qualifiers before losing 2-0 to Egypt in Alexandria.
The Black Stars ended their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Egypt at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Ghana failed to win any of the three home games.
