Black Starlets of Ghana have secured their first victory in the Africa U-17 Zonal qualifiers following their 1-2 victory over Togo in Niamey on Saturday afternoon.
The Black Starlets registered their first win of the tournament as goals from Simon Appiah and Christian Agyenim Boateng ensured victory.
Coach Karim Zito's troops got the opening goal through Christian Agyenim Boateng who got away from his marker to put the ball into the back of the net on the 42nd minute.

The Togolese two minutes later after conceding restored parity in the game as the game ended 1-1 in the first half.
The Starlets threw everything at Togo and got the winning goal through Simon Appiah who converted a penalty on the 85th minute.

The 1-2 victory against Togo sends the Black Starlets to the top of Group A with four points from two matches.
