Ghana Premier League champions Aduana Stars have been booted out in the CAF Confederations Cup as they lost 0-2 to Ivorian giants ASEC Mimosas in Dormaa.
Aduana Stars were unable to stand the firepower of ASEC Mimosas as they shipped in two goals in the first half of the game.
Farouk Adams of Aduana Stars gifted a penalty after he committed a foul in the 18-yard box.
Badie Zao of ASEC Mimosas confidently slotted the ball into the bottom corner to give his side the much-needed lead.

The visitors shortly after scoring doubled their lead through Braciano Ta Bi who lifted the ball over the goalkeeper of the Dormaa-based club to put his side in the driving seat.
Aduana Stars ended the first half trailing by 0-2 in Dorma at the Nana Agyeman Badu Park.
In the second half, Aduana Stars were not able to find a way past the resolute defence of the Ivorian giants.
The Ogya boys head coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi failed to impact the game after a couple of substitutions.

The Ivorian giants were able to keep the scoreline unchanged as goals from Braciano Ta Bi and Badie Zao sealed victory for them over Aduana Stars which automatically booted the Ghanaian club out of the competition.
In other matches in the group, AS Vita Club defeated Raja Casablanca 2-0 in Kinshasa, Congo.
