The Confederations of African Football (CAF) has handed match duties to Moroccan referee Noureddine El Jaafari to preside over the tie between Asante Kotoko and Zambian side Zesco United in the Confederation Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors will take on Group C leaders Zesco United in matchday two of the CAF Confederation Cup slated for Wednesday, February 13 at 1:00 pm local time.
El Jaafari, 40, will be supported on the lines by Hicham Ait Abbou and Youssef Mabrouk as first and second assistant referees respectively while Samir Guezzaz takes charge as the fourth official for the day.
The crucial encounter sees Rwandan Aaron Rurangirwa appointed as the Match Commissioner while IIboudo Serge Paulin Samuel from Burkina Faso will be the Referee Assessor.
The match officials are expected to arrive in the country on Monday ahead of the Group C tie at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Asante Kotoko will be seeking to win their first match in Group C after losing the opening game 1-0 against Sudanese Al-Hilal.
