CAFCC: We prepared well to beat Kotoko - Nkana FC coach

Nkana FC Coach Beston Chambeshi has revealed he psyche his team very well for the tie against Kotoko hence the 3-1 win over the Kumasi based team.

Goals from Kelvin Kampamba and Freddy Tshmenga ensured the Zambians defeated Kotoko in matchday three in Kitwe stadium on Sunday to record their second victory in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.

The former Zambia U20 Coach in post-match presser said “Nkana playing Asante Kotoko was not going to be easy for us. They are a good team with good technical staff.” 

“However, we prepared very well for this game because we understood the importance of getting the three points.”

The win ensures Nkana FC 43years home unbeaten record remains intact as they fly to Ghana to play Kotoko in the return leg on Sunday, March 3 at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Nkana FC lies top on the Group C table with 6points, followed by Al Hilal and Zesco United with 4points respectively while Kotoko remains at the bottom with 3points.
