Cristiano Ronaldo’s $19 million private jet crash landed in Barcelona after its landing gear broke away on impact, though the football star was not in it at the time.

According media reports, the luxurious plane hit the El Prat runway in Spain on Monday, leaving its undercarriage scratched and damaged.

On impact, it skidded off of the tarmac and came to a halt on the grass.

Emergency services immediately sped to the scene.

The plane’s pilot suffered minor injuries in the accident, with other passengers escaping without injuries, CCTV reported.

At the time of the accident, Ronaldo was in Germany with his Real Madrid teammates preparing for their Champions League clash with Borussia Dortmund.

The three-time Ballon d’Or winner purchased the plane last year, though he mostly leases it out to private clients.
