Ex-Black Stars ace, Rev. Osei Kofi has warned president Akufo Addo to deal with the embattled ex-GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi ruthlessly having been caught on camera receiving a bribe.
The 78-year-old Africa Cup of Nations winner believes the investigative piece done by controversial journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and his Tiger Eye PI team that unravelled massive corruption in the game serves as a silver platter to deal ruthlessly with the beleaguered former GFA boss having been caught on camera stashing an amount of $65000 bribe from an undercover journalist posed to be an investor.
However, the longest-serving Ghana FA boss is yet to face any criminal charge on his conduct in the expose’ by the state and Rev. Osei Kofi is sounding a caveat to the president to take an action against the under-siege Wa All Stars bankroller or face ousting in the 2020 polls.
“Nana Akufo Addo must know the No 12 expose was divine intervention to get the president of the land to deal with Kwesi Nyantakyi’s ‘thievery’ and clean Ghana football. If he fails to deal with Nyantakyi Ghanaians will respond in 2020, “he told Kumasi-based Sikka FM.
