Ghana international striker Emmanuel Boateng has finalised his move from Levante UD to Chinese Super League side Dalian Yafang.

No official fee has been reported by the two clubs but the fee is expected to be in the region of €11m which will be the second highest transfer in Levante’s history following Jefferson Lerma’s €30m move to Bournemouth this summer.

Boateng got into the limelight after his first career hat-trick helped Levante defeat Barcelona 5-4 which ended Barca's dream of going the whole 2017/2018 La Liga season unbeaten.

Levante released a statement to thank the Ghanaian striker after completing his move to Dalian Yifang.

"Levante UD would like to thank Emmanuel Boateng for his work and commitment during all this time and wish him luck in his new professional stage."

Boateng notched eight goals and registered two assists in his 50 appearances for Levante UD during his stay.

The 26-year-old moved from Portuguese club Moreirense in 2017 to join Levante UD on a transfer fee around €2.9m.
