Tottenham Hotspurs have suffered a second successive defeat with a 1-2 loss to Liverpool after their defeat against the Watford before the international break in the EPL.
The Lilywhites were not at their best as Liverpool capitalised on their sluggish play to beat them at Wembley.
Liverpool had to wait till the 39th minute to score the opening goal through midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum who rose to head home following a poor clearance from goalkeeper Vorm.

Spurs dominated possession after conceding but unable to create decent opportunities as the first half ended with Liverpool in the ascendancy.
