Chelsea have beaten host PAOK Salonika 1-0 courtesy Willian's strike in the Europa League on Thursday night.
Chelsea started their Europa League campaign this season on a superb note as it took them just 7 munites to open the scoring.
Willian, who was the skipper for the Blues, curled the ball into the bottom corner to after a great piece of skill by Ross Barkley as the Blues took the lead.
Â
The host switched to a 4-4-2 formation with the aim of piling pressure on Chelsea but did not pay off as they had zero shot on target in the first half.
Â
Chelsea continued their dominance in the second half as Morata had a lot of opportunities to double the lead for the Blues but spurn those chances.
Â
Sarri's men nearly cushioned their lead when Pedro lashed a curling shot from just outside the area but was saved by Paschalakis.
Â
The visitors piled pressure to extend their lead but the resolute defence of the host kept the scoreline 0-1.
Chelsea will play MOL Vidi FC in their next fixture at Stamford Bridge.
