Asante Kotoko is said to have extended the contract of winger, Emmanuel Gyamfi on a two-year deal according to reports in the garden city.
The 21-year-old’s contract expired months ago and was negotiating for a new deal.
However, reports went widespread that the pacey Wideman will be heading for the exit after failing to agree on a new deal.
But the diminutive winger has today 5 October 2018 penned a two-year deal which will keep him until 2021.
C.K Akonnor do not want to take any risk to lose his key player hence handing him a fresh deal to ward off interest from Clubs.
Gyamfi has been an integral part of the Kotoko team since arriving from Wa All Stars in 2016.
