The new FIFA director of development for Africa and the Caribbean, Veron Mosengo-Omba has been tasked by the world football governing body to preside over the football crisis in Ghana.
Mosengo-Omba, a highly experienced operator of the African terrain, has been chosen by General Secretary Fatma Samoura to mediate in the matters in which the Ghana government is seen to have interfered in the sport.
Sports Minister, Issac Asiamah together with the General Secretary of the Ghana FA will meet the DR Congo national, Mosengo-Omba on Tuesday, June 19, 2018, in Zurich.
Mosengo-Omba is a close ally of FIFA chief Gianni Infantino.
