The adjudicatory chamber of the independent ethics committee has on Tuesday 30, October 2018 banned former GFA capo, Kwesi Nyantakyi for life from all football-related activities (administrative, sports or any other) at both National and international level.
The adjudicatory chamber found Kwesi Nyantakyi guilty of having violated art. 19 (conflict of interest), art. 21 (bribery an corruption) of the FIFA code of ethics, 2012 edition. 
As a consequence, Mr Nyantakyi is banned for life from all football-related activities and has been fined an amount of CHF 500,000 by the Association.Â
The embattled Ghana Football Association President Kwesi Nyantakyi was banned on June 8 by FIFA’s Ethics Committee for accepting cash gift as shown in the Anas expose.
Nyantakyi, 49, was suspended for over 130 days from all football-related activities after he was seen accepting $65,000 from undercover investigators who masqueraded as investors but he rejected this figure saying he received only $40,000 as a refund.

This decision was taken upon the request of the chairperson of the investigatory chamber of the Ethics Committee carrying out the formal investigation proceedings into Mr Nyantakyi, pursuant to art. 83 par. 1 and art. 84 par. 2 of the FIFA Code of Ethics.

The chairperson of the adjudicatory chamber of the Ethics Committee provisionally banned the GFA President and FIFA Council member, Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi, for a duration of 90 days.
This ban was extended for an additional period of 45 days on September 5 which expired on Friday, October 19.
Mr Nyantakyi was therefore banned from all football activities at both national and international level but the global soccer body was set to give a final decision after 130 days of investigating the conduct of the former first-vice President of CAF in the Tiger Eye PI documentary.
The decision was notified to Mr Nyantakyi today and the ban takes effect immediately.
