Osei Kweku Palmer is a threat- Abdul Salam Yabuku

Campaign coordinator for GFA presidential hopeful George Afriyie, Abdul Salam Yakubu says he sees Osei Kewku Palmer as their threat in the impending Ghana FA elections.

According to the bankroller of Division One side New Edubiase, this year's election is a two-horse between George Afriyie and Osei Kweku Palmer but George stands tall since he has experiences and connections.

Speaking to Kumasi-based Fox FM, he added that George Afriyie has more CAF and FIFA connections than his competitors, which saw him serve as the match commissioner in two matches during AFCON 2019.

Commenting on the kind of personality to occupy the vacant FA seat, the new Edubiase chief averred that personalities like Nana Yaw Amponsah, Palmer, Kurt Okraku, Fred Pappoe can be lead Ghana football but the country's football governing body needs someone who is tried and tested, of higher quality and fits the bill.
