The Black Stars B have again missed out on qualifying for the Championship of African Nations after suffering a 2-1 loss to Burkina Faso at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
Despite playing away from home, Burkina Faso started brilliantly and opened the scoring in the 8th minute when Sylla Mohammed calmly punished Ghana to make it 1-0.
The Burkinabe's doubled their lead on the half hour when Nikiema Herman turned the ball home after a well-worked passing move to make it 2-0.
Ghana came out strongly in the second half and found a consolation on the 60tth minute mark through Felix Addo, but the Burkinabe's were resolute and held on to the lead.
This result meant Burkina Faso qualify for CHAN next year, 4-3 on aggregate.
