Ghana Premier League leaders AshantiGold have dropped their first point this season after a 1-1 draw with Bechem United.
The game which was played at the Baba Yara Stadium on Saturday, March 31, 2018, due to StarTimes coverage agreement saw both sides grab a point each.
Ashgold prior to this fixture had won their opening three games and sit on top of the league.
It was the home side Bechem United that struck first in the 20th minute through Emmanuel Owusu.
Ashgold had to respond quickly and did so when Amos Addai drew them level.The first half ended 1-1.
Chances in the second half were few as the game eventually ended 1-1 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Ashgold are still leading the table with 10 points from four games while Bechem United have collected only 4 points from four games.
They are currently 10th on the GPL table.
