Accra Hearts of Oak have picked up their first win in this year's Ghana Premier League after beating Ebusua Dwarfs 2-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium on Thursday March 29, 2018.
The Phobians prior to this fixture had drawn one and lost one of their two opening matches.
It was a match where Hearts had to put up their best performance to record a positive result.
The first half started with both sides sharing the spoil as it was an end-to-end action.
Dwarfs had the best chance of the first half but Hearts of Oak goalkeeper Ben Mensah made sure the scoreline remain goalless in the first half.
Hearts of Oak Coach Henry Wellington threw on Patrick Razak in the 2nd half and that paid off as he calmly put Hearts ahead in the 58th minute.
That gave the Phobians the confidence and they pushed for the second goal to seal the game.
Former Dwarfs striker Joseph Esso put the icing on the cake for Hearts with a tap-in after some fine work from Christopher Boney.

That made it 2-0 for Hearts of Oak who held on firmly until the final whistle.
Hearts will face Dreams FC in thier next Ghana Premier League game.
