The Ghana Football Association (GFA) Disciplinary Committee has dismissed Accra Great Olympics FC’s protest case against Tamale City FC in relation to their betPawa Premier League matchday 27 game played at the WAFA Park in Sogakope.

According to the Disciplinary Committee, the violation in contention was not sanctioned under the GFA Premier League Regulations, but rather a fine in accordance with the provisions of the GFA Club Licensing Regulations and the GFA Club Licensing Book of Sanctions.

A fine of GH¢20, 000 has therefore been imposed on Tamale City FC for failing to appoint a Head Coach after being granted 30-day grace period given to the Club.

Tamale City FC has been asked to immediately appoint a Head Coach to replace Coach Walid Mohammed who travelled outside the country for medical reasons.
