Hearts of Oak and Ghana legend, Mohammed Polo has defended the actions of Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga following his refusal to be substituted during Sunday's Carabao Cup Final against Manchester City.Â
The Chelsea goalkeeper drew fury from his manager Maurizio Sarri when he waved away attempts to replace him towards the end of extra-time.
Willy Caballero was stripped and ready to come on ahead of the penalty shootout but was forced back to the bench as the No 1 stood his ground, a move that left his Italian boss screaming in frustration on the sidelines.
But the Spaniard defied his manager’s orders by staying on the pitch for the penalty shootout, which the  Blues lost 4-3.
