“I will definitely play for Kotoko before hanging up my boots because I love the club very much," the 30-year-old said in an interview on Happy FM.
"I have always been a Kotoko fan since my childhood days. Even though, I didn’t play for them during my time in Ghana, I will definitely play for them before going on retirement. It is about the perfect time so I'm waiting for that perfect moment when everything looks set for me to play Kotoko,†he added.

Gyan, who is currently in Ghana to promote his Baby Jet boxing brand, is reported to be on his way out of Shanghai following the arrival of Brazilian striker Hulk.
Gyan will be continuing a family tradition as his elder brother Baffour, also a former Ghana international, played for the Porcupine Warriors between 2010 and 2011 after a successful career in Europe and in the Middle East before ending his career.
