Head coach of Dormaa-based side Aduana Stars Kenichi Yatsuhashi has bemoaned his sides missed chances in their 2-0 defeat to Ivorian side ASEC Mimosas in the CAF Confederations Cup.
Aduana who needed all three points were undone by two first-half goals by Gbagnon Anicet Badie and Braciano Ta Bi.
Anicet Badie scored a penalty in the 24th minute before Braciano Ta Bi doubled the lead few minutes to halftime.
The home side who were missing 8 of their top players could not recover as they succumbed to their first ever defeat at the Nana Agyeman Badu park in their African campaign.
Kenichi Yatuhashi blames the defeat to their wastefulness in front of goal.
"We played much better and created a lot of chances which we could have scored. But, I think we had more chances in general but they were able to score two goals and they went away with that," he said in a post-match interview.
