Ghanaian club Kumasi Asante Kotoko have been drawn against Congolese Champions, Club Athlétique Renaissance Aiglon (CARA) in the preliminary stage of the CAF Confederations Cup.
Kotoko beat Accra Hearts of Oak in the finals of the MTN FA Cup to secure the only spot available to Ghana for the Confederations Cup.

The first leg will be played on the weekend of 9-11 of February 2018 in Kumasi and the second leg comes off on the 20-21 February 2018 in Congo.
Kotoko are hoping to strengthen their team ahead of the tournament after a hiatus in African competitions.
The club have recently confirmed that they are in talks with some players and will add some steel to their squad after parting ways with five first-team members.
