Kumasi Asante Kotoko have missed out on resigning their former striker Ahmed Toure who has joined Ivorian side Asec Mimosas.
The striker scored 13 goals in 26 appearances for Bechem United in the just ended Ghana Premier League and Kotoko were hoping to get his signature once again.

Toure, who hails from Ivory Coast, was identified as a replacement for Burkinabe striker Hervé Oussalé who had his contract terminated.
He has signed a two year deal with Asec and that comes as a blow to Kotoko who were hoping to get him lead their attack as they will play the Confederations Cup next season.
