Ghanaian international, Abdul Majeed Waris is expected to return to Lorient following the expiration of his six-month loan at Porto.
The 26-year-old was loaned to FC Porto in the January transfer window from Lorient. He was part of the team that was eliminated at the knockout phase of the Uefa Champions League.
Majeed Waris has endured a poor season for FC Porto as a result of injuries. He played 15 times and manage to bag in a goal.
Meanwhile, his parent Club Lorient fared well in Ligue two finishing 7th but were unable to make a return to the Ligue 1.
FC Porto on signing him on a six-month loan deal icluded a €6 million option to make the move permanent.
That seem to have hit the rocks now as he failed to impress with the club making less than 10 appearances in all competitions.

Waris has had stints with Spartak Moscow, Trabzonspor, among other clubs.
