Hearts of Oak registered a slim 1-0 victory over Division one League side Uncle T United in a friendly at the Pobiman Park today January 27, 2019.

The Rainbow club started the match as the better of the two sides by scoring as early as the 4th-minute courtesy captain Fatawu Mohammed.

Kofi Kordzi made his debut for the Phobians but couldn't find the back of the net and was replaced in the 2nd half by Anthony Quayeson.

The friendly formed part of preparations for both sides to sharpen the rough edges for the upcoming Normalization Committee's Special Competition.

Hearts of Oak ever since they hired Kim Grant as their new manager have played series of friendlies to stay fit.

They will be hoping to play some sweet football in the upcoming Normalization Committee's special competition.

It is likely the Phobians will arrange another friendly before the special competition commences.
