Former Manchester City and Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has undergone a medical at West Ham United ahead of a move to the London based club.
Nasri is currently serving an 18-month ban which ends in December, after violating the World Anti-Doping Code and Uefa’s doping regulations after intravenously receiving 500 millilitres of sterile water containing nutrients while on holiday in Los Angeles in December 2016.
Former Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini who is now in the books of West Ham worked with Nasri and is looking to land the signature of the midfielder who has been training with the club since the start of November.Â

West Ham are looking to sign Nasri on a six months contract as he is currently a free agent with his previous contract with Turkish club Antalyaspor mutually terminated last January, following his doping ban.
