The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed that shot-stopper Maduka Okoye will not be in posts for 2022 World Cup playoffs against the Black Stars of Ghana.
NFF on Tuesday said, Maduka Okoye who plies his trade for Eredivisie side Sparta Rotterdam, is out of the World Cup qualifier due to illness.
The goalkeeper who was named in head coach Augustine Eguavon's side on March 4 has been replaced by Enyimba FC goalkeeper, John Noble.

Other goalkeepers in camp are Kaizer Chiefs' Daniel Akpeyi and Omonia's Francis Uzoho.
The NFF wished him well as recovers from the illness

The Super Eagles will travel to Kumasi for the first leg that takes place on March 25 before welcoming the Black Stars to the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja four days later.
The Winner of the two legs will progress to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament.
