Normalisation Committee announce date for GFA elections

The Normalization Committee have announced the road map for the impending GFA elections.

According to the interim body, Regional FA election will be conducted before the GFA Presidential seat with October 18 set for the regional elections.

The elections for the GFA President and Executive council will held on October 25.

The release further states, nominations will be opened on September 16-20, 2019 for all aspirants across the vacant and newly created slots.

Each RFA contestant is set to pay GH¢2500 as nomination fees with the GFA Presidential seat pegged at GH¢5000.

Interested parties who will be contesting for a slot on the Executive Council of the FA shall pay a nomination fee of Two Thousand Five Hundred CedisGH¢2500 while female aspiring candidates are to pay a GH¢1000 for any category interested.

“Pursuant to the 2019 Statutes of the Ghana Football Association and the approved Elections Regulations, the Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association wishes to announce for the attention of all stakeholders and the general public, the road map and guidelines for the 2019 GFA Elections,” a release on the website of the Ghana FA read.
