Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum was on Monday as unveiled as Asante Kotoko's head coach ahead of the 2023/24 betpawa Premier League season.
The unveiling ceremony took place at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
Speaking at the ceremony, Prosper Narteh expressed joy following his return to the club.
"I am overly excited and overwhelmed by this opportunity and nothing else comes closer, probably the day I got married but I have to say I am excited to be here again," he said.
The coach added that he will try to build a formidable team that will bring to the club.
“My first year is to put together a very formidable team that can compete both domestically and internationally. However, you can’t be at Kotoko and not think of bringing success,” Coach Ogum said.
The former WAFA boss has returned to the Porcupine Warriors for a second spell having left the club after the 2021-22 season despite guiding the Reds to a Ghana Premier League title triumph for the first time in eight years.
Prosper Narteh Ogum will lead the team as they begin pre-season on Tuesday at Beposo in Kumasi ahead of the 2023/24 Ghana football season that gets underway in September.
Kotoko will open their campaign with a home game against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
