Croatia beat England 2-1 in the second semifinal of the Russia 2018 World Cup to qualify for the final.
Both sides were confident going into the game and England had an early breakthrough.

Croatia upped their game in the second half and were finally rewarded with a goal in the 68th minute.
Inter Milan forward Ivan Perisic rose above Walker to tap home a cross from Vrsaljko to make it 1-1.
Lots of chances fell in the path of Croatia but the game ended 1-1 and had to decided in extra time.
Croatia got the all-important second goal in the 109 minute of extra time.
Madzukic latched onto a stray pass in the England penalty area and calmly beat Pickford to make it 2-1 to Croatia.

The Croatian played steadily in defence as they qualify for their first final which they will play France on Sunday, July 15.
